Our Mission Statement:
The California Alliance to Stop
the Spray (CASS) provides an organizational
vehicle by which residents of the
state protect their inalienable
rights to safety and privacy, and
to not have their persons or property,
including public areas, sprayed
with chemicals or any other substance.
CASS is a transpartisan organization
committed to operating with fairness,
integrity, and inclusiveness.
CASS works to reveal the full truth
of past, present, and future spray
operations and atmospheric alterations
to inform and include all effected
people to the greatest extent possible,
so that the most healthy, equitable
and wise solutions are achieved.
Working toward sustainable and ecologically
sound solutions.
CASS embraces the spirit of the
“Precautionary Principle” - that
if an action or policy might cause
severe or irreversible harm to the
public, in the absence of a scientific
consensus that harm would not ensue,
the burden of proof falls on those
who would advocate taking the action.
The guiding principles of CASS are
to:
1. Coordinate and mutually
support each other's efforts.
2. Maximize available resources
in order to prevent duplication
of efforts.
3. Develop consensus documents
that everyone can use in their individual
and coordinated efforts.
4. Utilize constructive Action
Teams to develop mutually supportive
tasks and focused strategies that
are coordinated between the groups
and individuals.
5. Treat each other with
kindness as valued colleagues.
6. Allow for growth and change.
CASS goals:
1. Stop the spray scheduled
for early 2008!
2. Stop the Entire 2008 Cycle
of Spraying
3. Stop All Spraying Forever!
